The technological capacity of BMA’s team of experts is the result of a large number of projects successfully completed in different production sectors. Key words such as energy management, today’s subjects about environmental sustainability like climate changes and better use of resources which extends across a range of main processes like potato handling, peeling, blanching, drying, frying and freezing thereof, underline BMA’s expertise, which extends across a range of products. Other major areas are the main processes of logistic systems for cheese handling and ripening. Starting from this sound basis, BMA  Nederland BV aims at developing concepts that provide customers with tailor-made solutions providing a maximum of efficiency. Our core team of process and projects engineers is in charge of the projected planning work. Different computing tools and CAE programs assist the teams in their planning work





Scope of services


BMA Nederland BV offers solutions that are to the customers specifications and requirements. Main elements of the service portfolio are factory expansion programmes, process optimisation and energy management. Feasibility studies can be included and will be handled in close collaboration and consultation with the customer. BMA‘s team of experts offers advice and guidance in all the fields mentioned in order to define, together with the customer, the potential available for optimisation, and to make this potential available on a near-term basis.

 

For major projects, there is a set of three graded studies:

  • Basic concept: preparation of mass and energy balances; block graphs for process visualisation; report.
  • Design concept: preparation of mass and energy balances; preparation of a process flow diagram (PFD), complete with a list showing the necessary equipment; draft layout plan; report.
  • Basic engineering: mass and energy balances; list of necessary equipment including specifications; process flow diagram (PFD); layout plan for all items of equipment; list of control loops for measuring and control equipment; report.

The exact scope of services can be adjusted for specific project studies.
