Inspection for steampeelers

Steam peelers are a vital element in the total production process. The machines supplied by BMA Nederland B.V./ Komen &Kuin are built using high quality materials and components in order to give you as much reliability and as long lifespan as possible.  Regular and qualified maintenance of your equipment, however, is also an important part of this.

Those parts that are under greater burden from the steam pressure, i.e. the peeler vessel, feed valve and associated bolting are all covered by the Lloyds’ Register / Stoomwezen certificates, and require regular inspection. This will ensure the quality of materials used and the safety of the operational users and the environment.

Other components, such as the steam supply pipe and Tuflin-valves are made from certified material, again to ensure reliability and safety.

Due to the burden (pressure cycles, grime, wear and corrosion) the condition of the various parts deteriorates, causing the reliability and safety of your plant to possibly fall below 100%.  In order to avoid this BMA Nederland B.V. can offer you a Safety Inspection.

During this BMA Safety Inspection the relevant parts of the peeler will be checked. Further, we will report to you in writing on necessary measures, such as proposed maintenance or the exchange of parts.

Maintenance contracts for yearly inspections of the steam peeler are also available.
